Asimina Ferguson is originally from Short Hills, N.J. She studied piano for nine years with Hazel Bridgeman at Carneigie Hall, and also took voice lesson with Gabriel Chiodo at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. These early experiences naturallly led into her love and study of classical ballet

She has long enjoyed her association with West End Acadeny of Dance, where she studied Ballet, Jazz, Flamenco, and Hip Hop. She was asked to join the faculty fifteen years ago and continues to love teaching ballet to all age groups!

Asimina has a lifelong passion for learning the art of classiacl ballet. She still studies extensively in the Richmmond area at studios including the Richmond Ballet and Pilates Dance and More.
