Tristi Ann McMasters-Robinson is from Carson City, Nevada where she began her early training at her mother’s dance studio Pinkerton Dance Academy. She continued training at Marin Ballet School & Company in California, and has extensive experience in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Character & Gymnastics. Her career has spanned over 16 years as a professional dancer and teacher.
She was formerly a Principal dancer with the Washington Ballet and Richmond Ballet as well as a soloist with Atlanta Ballet and a member of Milwaukee Ballet Company. Tristi still performs nationally as a guest artist. She has worked with Choreographers such s Kirk Peterson, Baayork Lee, Val Caniparoli, Vincente Nebrada, Kevin McKenzie, Christian Holder, Suzanne Farrell, William Soleau, Maurico Wainrot, and Simon Dow.
In 1997 she was awarded OYA, Outstanding Young Woman of America. Tristi has taught at The School of Richmond Ballet, as well as a guest artist for many school’s including The Atlanta Ballet, Northwest Florida Ballet, Busch Gardens, and Pinkerton Dance Academy. She will be teaching advanced ballet, pointe and variations at West End Academy this season. |
